Notification Settings (Android)

Notification preferences in Grid Getter work at two levels:

  1. In-app settings (Settings → Notifications) — controls what Grid Getter sends from the backend
  2. Android channel settings (Android Settings → Apps → Grid Getter → Notifications) — controls how those notifications are delivered on your device

Go to Settings → Notifications to toggle which notification types you receive:

  • Automation alerts — when an automation runs and changes your battery settings
  • DemandGuard alerts — DemandGuard monitoring events and battery actions
  • System alerts — important account and connectivity events
  • Subscription updates — billing confirmations and plan changes

Toggle a type off to stop Grid Getter from sending it entirely, regardless of channel settings.

Grid Getter registers four Android notification channels. You can silence or adjust individual channels without disabling all notifications.

ChannelType of contentDefault priority

To adjust a channel:

  1. Go to Android Settings → Apps → Grid Getter → Notifications.
  2. Tap the channel you want to change.
  3. Set importance level or toggle it off.

  1. Check that Allow notifications is on in Android Settings → Apps → Grid Getter.
  2. Verify the relevant channel is enabled and not set to “Silent.”
  3. Check Android Settings → Apps → Grid Getter → Battery and set to Unrestricted to prevent Android from delaying background notifications.
