Security
The Security tab lets you update your Grid Getter account password.
To get there: Settings → Security
Changing your password
Section titled “Changing your password”- Go to Settings → Security
- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)
- Confirm the new password
- Click Save
You’ll receive a confirmation email when your password is changed. If you didn’t request this change, contact support immediately.
If you’ve forgotten your password
Section titled “If you’ve forgotten your password”From the login screen:
- Click Forgot password? below the login form
- Enter your account email address
- Check your inbox for a reset link
- Click the link and set a new password
Reset links expire after 24 hours.
Account security best practices
Section titled “Account security best practices”- Use a unique password you don’t use on other services
- Avoid sharing your account credentials
- Log out of Grid Getter on shared or public devices
Tesla account security
Section titled “Tesla account security”Your Tesla credentials are separate from your Grid Getter credentials. Grid Getter never stores your Tesla password — it only holds an OAuth token you can revoke at any time. See Integrations for more.
