Energy Plan (Android)

You can set up your electricity rate plan right from the Android app. Grid Getter needs your rates so automations like DemandGuard and Peak Time know when power is expensive and when it’s cheap.

Getting there

Open Settings → Energy Plan.

1. Pick your utility and rate plan from the built-in presets, or
2. Tap Build a custom plan to set your own seasons, time-of-use windows, and rates.

Either way, your plan syncs to Tesla and is saved to Grid Getter when you’re done.

Tip

We’re adding more utilities and rate plans over time. If your provider isn’t in the preset list yet, build a custom plan — and check back as the list grows.

What you can set

The custom editor handles seasons, on-peak / off-peak / super off-peak windows, energy rates, demand charges, and solar export rates. The full breakdown of every field lives on the main Energy Plan page:

Changing your plan

Come back to Settings → Energy Plan any time. The editor loads your current rates so you can adjust them instead of starting over.
