Notifications (iOS)

The Notifications tab shows your complete notification history — automation actions, DemandGuard alerts, system messages, and billing events — in reverse chronological order.

Scroll down to load older notifications.

Grid Getter uses Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to deliver alerts to your device. iOS uses a single notification permission that covers all notification types from Grid Getter — there are no separate channels to configure within the app.

The first time you sign in, Grid Getter requests notification permission. Tap Allow when prompted.

If you missed that prompt or previously denied it:

  1. Open iPhone Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap Grid Getter.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Turn on Allow Notifications.

Grid Getter sends notifications for:

  • Automation actions — when an automation sets your reserve level
  • DemandGuard alerts — demand period warnings and mode changes
  • Tesla connection — when your Tesla connection expires or is restored
  • Billing — subscription changes and payment events

All types are delivered through the same iOS notification permission. To disable specific types, go to Settings → Notification Settings in the app.

If notifications stop arriving, your device token may have changed. Go to Settings → Account → Refresh Push Notifications to re-register your device with Grid Getter’s backend.
