Creating Your Account

Getting started with Grid Getter takes about two minutes. Here’s what to expect.

Sign up

1. Go to app.gridgetter.com

2. Click Sign Up on the login screen

3. Enter your email address and choose a password

   Your password must be at least 8 characters. Use something you don’t use elsewhere.

4. Click Create Account

5. Check your inbox for a verification email from Grid Getter

6. Open the email and click Verify my email

   This takes you back to the app and confirms your address.

Tip

If you don’t see the verification email within a few minutes, check your spam folder. The email comes from no-reply@gridgetter.com.

After verification

Once your email is verified, Grid Getter walks you through a short onboarding flow:

1. Set up your profile — enter your name, phone number, and timezone
2. Connect your Tesla — authorize Grid Getter to read your Tesla energy data
3. Select your site — choose which Tesla site to manage (most users have just one)

After that, you’ll land on the Live Dashboard and see your real-time energy data.

Existing Tesla account required

Grid Getter requires a Tesla account with at least one commissioned Powerwall. If you don’t have a Powerwall yet, you’ll be able to create an account but won’t be able to connect a site.
