Downgrading
Section titled “Downgrading”-
Go to Settings → Billing
-
Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe billing portal
-
Select a lower tier
-
Confirm the downgrade
When you downgrade:
- You retain access to your current tier until the end of your billing period
- After that, access reverts to the lower tier
- Automations that require the higher tier are deactivated (not deleted — they’ll reactivate if you upgrade again)
Cancelling
Section titled “Cancelling”-
Go to Settings → Billing
-
Click Manage Subscription
-
In the Stripe portal, select Cancel subscription
-
Choose whether to cancel immediately or at the end of the current period
Cancel at period end (recommended): You keep access to paid features until your current billing period ends. No refund, but you get full value for what you’ve paid.
Cancel immediately: Access to paid features ends right away. Partial refunds depend on your billing period — Stripe handles this according to their policy.
After cancellation, your account stays active on the Free plan. Your data, automations, and settings are preserved.
Managing through the App Store or Google Play
Section titled “Managing through the App Store or Google Play”If you subscribed through the iOS App Store or Google Play, you must manage your subscription through Apple or Google — not through Grid Getter.
iOS (App Store):
- Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find Grid Getter and tap it to manage
Android (Google Play):
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap your profile icon
- Go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Find Grid Getter and tap Manage
Payment issues
Section titled “Payment issues”If a payment fails:
- You’ll receive an email notification
- Stripe automatically retries the charge over several days
- Go to Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription to update your payment method
Access is maintained during the retry period. If the payment ultimately fails, your subscription is paused and access reverts to Free.
Refunds
Section titled “Refunds”Refund requests are handled case-by-case. Email support@gridgetter.com with your account email and a brief explanation. We process refund requests within 2 business days.
App Store and Google Play purchases must be refunded through Apple or Google — we don’t have access to those transactions.
Receipts and invoices
Section titled “Receipts and invoices”Stripe automatically emails a receipt after each successful payment. You can also download invoices from the Stripe billing portal (Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription).
